 MWP- Xigaze 20xx After a short presentation of the Mountain Wave Project at the Embassy of the P.R. China, MWP sent an offical letter of inquiry to the ambassador. In this letter MWP is asking for a study of orographic turbulence and a new MWP-expedition to Himalaya Our MoU is now in process . We are looking forward to a close co-operation with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research in Lhasa. week ago in that spectacular high altitude flight by Joachim (Joac) Kuettner.
No, they are celebrating because this very Joac Kuettner turns 100 on
September 21st! Of course, not only waves and clouds are going to remember

2.800km !!! Two world records
on the 13th of december 2009- distance using up to 3 TP- 2.511km;
speed over an out - and return course of 1.500km - 198 km/h;
